     Xiangyang Aodong Electric Co., Ltd. sent SVG engineers to inspect the production power load equipment on site, collect data, measure the load power status, and issued a detailed Power Quality Test Report and Recommended Solution, which conducted in-depth analysis from the perspective of system frequency, voltage, current, power and harmonics.

    The analysis concluded that:
     According to the test data analysis and parameters provided by the site, as well as site requirements, two sets of SVG equipment with 6Mvar shall be installed on two sections of bus respectively, totally two sets. Two sets of SVG respectively ensure that the power factor of the two sections of bus reaches 0.92 to meet the field requirements. The field test results show that the field voltage distortion rate is 1.19% and meets the national standard. The equipment provided by our company is only responsible for compensating reactive power and improving power factor. The original local compensation capacitor bank on site has certain suppression effect on harmonics, so it needs to be kept for use.

     After site survey, the distribution room is reserved, with length of 11.5M, width of 8M and height of 8M. Because there is no space for laying air-core reactors outdoors, considering the allowable height of the distribution room, air-core reactors can only be arranged in the way of indoor superposition. This suggestion is highly recognized by the Owner's Chief Engineer.

     Through careful preparation work in the early stage, after more than one month of production, transportation, installation and commissioning, the high-voltage dynamic reactive power compensation device (SVG) applied to the customer site, 10KV 6Mvar, successfully put into operation, the power factor reached 0.92~0.98, can be freely adjusted, and after a short operation of 20 days, the owner sent good news, successful operation of the month two sections of the bus will be awarded more than 30000 yuan by the power supply department.
